गूगल प्ले स्टोर की सिक्योरिटी सिस्टम में गंभीर चूक सामने आई है। प्ले स्टोर पर बीतें कई दिनों से WhatsApp का एक फर्जी ऐप मौजूद था। इस ऐप को करीब 10 लाख लोगों ने अपने स्मार्टफोन में डाउनलोड किया लेकिन गूगल का इस पर ध्यान नहीं गया। खास बात यह है कि ये फर्जी ऐप भी उसी डेवलपेर के नाम से प्ले स्टोर पर मौजूद था जिस डेवलपेर के नाम से WhatsApp का असली ऐप मौजूद है। इस फर्जीवाड़े पर सबसे पहले एक रेडिट यूजर का ध्यान गया. इस यूजर ने बताया कि जिसने भी इसे डाउनलोड किया, इस ऐप ने उसे नुकसान पहुंचाया है।
