Jasprit Bumrah reached new milestone in 3rd ODI against New Zealand in Kanpur. By taking 28 matches for 50 ODI wickets, he became the 2nd quickest among Indians to reach the milestone. Ajit Agarkar needed only 23 ODI matches for completing 50 wickets and stands as the 2nd quickest in the world to the milestone. The top four Indians to reach the milestone are pacers as Mohammed Shami and Irfan Pathan needed 29 and 31 matches respectively. He took 3 wickets by giving 47 runs in his 10 overs in the series decider. He gave away only five runs in the 48th over and eight runs in the final over when the Kiwis needed 15 runs. The right-arm pacer ensured he didn’t commit any mistake under pressure as India won the game by six runs and the series 2-1.
