President Trump on Friday lashed out at Tom Steyer in a tweet.
President Trump took to Twitter on Friday after billionaire activist Tom Steyer called for his impeachment.
"Wacky & totally unhinged Tom Steyer, who has been fighting me and my Make America Great Again agenda from beginning, never wins elections!" Trump tweeted.
The former hedge fund manager recently launched an impeachment campaign.
"Steyer started the 'Need to Impeach' initiative...with an ad calling on Americans to urge their members of Congress to vote the president out of office," CNBC reports. "In a statement, the organization said it would launch an 'eight-figure' television ad purchase and a 'seven-figure' digital buy."
The campaign has also setup a website - NeetToImpeach.com.
"Donald Trump has brought us to the brink of nuclear war, obstructed justice, and taken money from foreign governments," the website states in part. "We need to impeach this dangerous president."
