Trump Lashes Out Over Impeachment Chatter: Crime Was 'Committed By The Democrats,' Not Me

President Trump slammed the Democrats on Sunday.

President Trump is lashing out over some Democrats' talk of pursuing impeachment following the release of a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's report.  "How do you impeach a Republican President for a crime that was committed by the Democrats? MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" Trump tweeted on Sunday. Notably, Democratic Congressional committee leaders raised the prospect in interviews with a variety of Sunday news shows.  Among them was House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, who said on CBS' 'Face the Nation,' "I can foresee that possibly coming."  He also noted he's "not there yet," but commented that Mueller's report does provide a "roadmap" for further investigation.  House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler told NBC's 'Meet The Press,' that, while the president's actions outlined in the report appear to be "impeachable," "I don't think we're doing that. We may get to that. We may not."  "The party's House majority is scheduled to hold a conference call at 5 p.m. ET Monday to discuss next steps following the report," according to CNN.
