Trump Maintains His Innocence, Points Finger At Hillary Clinton Over Russian Collusion

President Trump repeated his claim on Friday that his campaign didn't collude with Russia.

President Trump on Friday maintained that he didn't collude with Russians for the 2016 election, while pointing the finger at Hillary Clinton.
"It is now commonly agreed, after many months of COSTLY looking, that there was NO collusion between Russia and Trump," the president tweeted Friday. "Was collusion with HC!"
His tweet comes in the wake of reports that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund the research that led to the controversial dossier on Trump.
He echoed similar thoughts during a press gaggle on Wednesday.
"This was the Democrats coming up with an excuse for losing an election," the president said. "They didn't know what to say, so they made up the whole Russia hoax. Now it's turning out that the hoax has turned around."
"You look at the uranium deal, and you look at the fake dossier. So that's all turned around," Trump added.
A Politico report covered the current state of Russia-related probes.
"Republican lawmakers say they're approaching the end of their investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election even though the most politically explosive issue — whether associates of President Donald Trump colluded with the Kremlin — remains unresolved," the publication noted Friday.
