Trump: Mike Pence 'wants to hang' all gay people

The New Yorker reported on Monday that Trump once claimed Mike Pence said he 'wants to hang' all gay people. Pence has repeatedly clashed with the LGBT community and supported an amendment in 2006 to have marriage defined as being between a man and woman. The New Yorker also reported Trump mocked Pence's anti-gay and pro-life views. After a legal scholar pointed out that overturning Roe v. Wade would end in many states legalizing abortion, Trump reportedly told Pence, “You’ve wasted all this time and energy on it, and it’s not going to end abortion anyway.” The report mentioned a campaign staffer saying, Trump likes to "let Pence know who's boss."
