Chapter A, which is also known as World War I, the Russian Revolution And Woodrow Wilson, is the first prequel of the 10-part documentary series by Oliver Stone entitled,The Untold History Of The United States.

Oliver Stone and his collaborators provides insight on the Russian Revolution during the period of 1917-18.It was a series of revolution that forced the Russian Emperor to abdicate his throne to give way to a provisional government and to a eventually a Bolshevik government which gave way to the rise of Communism.This ultimately caused the conflict between the Russians and the Americans.

In addition to that,it also examined the rise of the American empire during the 1900's when a declining empire Spain ceded territories like Cuba,Puerto Rico and the Philippines to the United States during the Spanish-American war.Added to that,it also has taken a look at the wars fought by the Americans in the said countries to colonize these territories.It also took a close look at the presidency of Woodrow Wilson and the involvement of the United States in the last stages of World War I.
