A family that was evacuated from their home in Larkfield, California, to nearby Geyserville witnessed a huge fire tanker plane drop retardant on one of the wildfires spreading in that part of Sonoma County on October 11.The family told Storyful that the same morning they filmed this video, they also learned that their own home in Santa Rosa was a complete loss.Throughout the day they watched as fires progressed to get closer and closer to destroying homes. That afternoon they watched helicopters, smaller retardant planes, and the gigantic 747 Global SuperTanker make drops over the fires in Geyserville.A flight path monitoring site posted the 747’s October 11 flight path.
