On Wednesday, the Mexican government announced that it would supplies and electricity experts to Puerto Rico, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria. Mexico's foreign ministry confirmed 30 energy specialists from the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) would be sent to Puerto Rico to help restore the power supply. Mexico also plans to deliver 30 tons of bottled water along with mosquito repellent. This follows Mexico's recent disaster with a 7.1 earthquake last month, which has now claimed 366 lives.
