Sydney Lindt Cafe Attack: Hostages trapped, gunman armed, motives unknown

Sydney hostage crisis has so far lasted over 10 hours. Five people have got out of the Lindt Café, more remain trapped. Hostages inside are seen pressed against the window, holding a black-and-white flag with Arabic writing on it.
