Mercedes-Benz is spending $1 billion to grow their electric car division

Mercedes-Benz is throwing its full weight into the electric car arena The German car company is investing $1 billion in their existing Tuscaloosa, AL plant and a new battery factory. "We are significantly growing our manufacturing footprint here in Alabama, while sending a clear message to our customers across the U.S. and around the world."
