Halloween spending expected to surpass $9 billion

Halloween is one of the most popular holidays in the United States, with 179 million people planning to celebrate it in 2017. This year, according the National Retail Federation, people are predicted to spend over $9 billion which surpasses last year's record of $8.4 billion. The average American is reportedly spending $86.13 on costumes, candy, decorations, etc. Trick or treat...if you dare.
