President Trump on Wednesday lashed out at Hillary Clinton for criticizing his UN speech.
President Trump has slammed Hillary Clinton for criticizing his United Nations General Assembly speech.
"After allowing North Korea to research and build Nukes while Secretary of State (Bill C also), Crooked Hillary now criticizes," Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.
The president was likely referring to Clinton's remarks during an appearance on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,' where she called the speech "very dark" and "dangerous."
"Not the kind of message that the leader of the greatest nation in the world should be delivering," Clinton added.
In his address on Tuesday, Trump used forceful rhetoric to take aim at the leaders of several nations including Iran and North Korea.
"The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea," Trump said in part. "Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is ready, willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. "
