A crowd of people in Brazil teamed up to rescue a stranded, 30-ton humpback whale.

The baby whale was stranded in extremely shallow water near a beach in Rio de Janiero and was apparently separated from its mother during low tide. The rescue started with 30 people, but quickly grew to more than 200.

Using backhoes and multiple boats, they were finally able to push the whale back into deeper water.
