The concept for the Lift Life Foundation was born when a small team at Bodybuilding.com wanted to make a direct impact in the lives of underprivileged youth through health and fitness. In an era when athletics are being cut because of lack of funding and childhood obesity is at an all-time high, we saw a dire need to step in and take immediate action. We know the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle, and all the benefits that come with it. So, we decided to create our own nonprofit organization from scratch that would give new life to old rundown high school weight rooms and give underprivileged students access to an amazing space that can literally change their lives both physically and mentally for the better.
We are committed to growing our foundation to a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that is leading the charge in reinstating the importance of health and fitness in our youth. We are very fortunate that Bodybuilding.com is our Founding Partner, and is committed to the foundation’s longevity and success. The Lift Life Foundation is Bodybuilding.com’s sole charitable beneficiary, and a portion of all their sale proceeds go to the foundation. Bodybuilding.com also donates services that help with the Foundation’s marketing efforts so more people have visibility into the amazing work that’s being done.
We are committed to changing the landscape of youth health and fitness, but can’t do it alone. We need support from individuals and business to change lives by either nominating a school in need, donating so we can do more projects, or partnering with us if a business aligns with our initiative and wants to contribute their products/services
