Wildfire Closes Hiking Trails at Western Canadian National Parks

A wildfire blazing on the border of Alberta and British Columbia caused many popular hiking trails to close in Kootenay and Banff National Parks on Sunday, July 16.According to Parks Canada, campers and hikers were being turned away for their safety.The fire is another in a series of wildfires burning in British Columbia, which have displaced tens of thousands of people.This video shows the heavy smoke looming over the peaks.
