Monsoon has arrived and every person has a monsoon craving, we want to have something hot and spicy to eat. So, here comes Mumbai special Vada Pav to satisfy your monsoon craving. Do try this tasty and spicy Vada Pav.

Ingredients:

5 Medium Sized Potatoes (Boiled and Coarsely Mashed)- బంగాళాదుంపలు
Few Curry Leaves- కరివేపాకు
8 - 10 Cloves of Garlic- వెల్లుల్లి
1 Big Piece of Ginger- అల్లం
5 Green Chillies- పచ్చిమిర్చి
Coriander Leaves- కొత్తిమీర
1/2 Tsp - Mustard Seeds- ఆవాల
1&1/2 Tbsp of Oil- నూనె
1&1/2 Cup Gram Flour- శనగపిండి
Pinch - Turmeric Powder- పసుపు పొడి
Pinch - Asafoetida (Hing)- ఇంగువ
Pinch - Salt- ఉప్పు
Pinch - Soda Bicarbonate- వంట సోడా
1 Tbsp - Cornflour- మొక్కజొన్న పిండి
1/2 Tsp - Red Chilly Powder- ఎర్ర కారం పొడి
5 - 6 Breads- బ్రెడ్
Coriander Mint Chutney- కొత్తిమీర పుదీనా చట్నీ
Spicy Garlic Chutney- వెల్లుల్లి చట్నీ

Method:

- Grind the aromatics i,e, Chillies, Ginger, Garlic
- Heat 1&1/2 Tbsp of oil in a pan
- Add Mustard Seeds & wait for them to crackle
- Add Asafoetida & Curry Leaves, Ginger, Garlic & Chilli Paste, Mashed Potatoes, Turmeric, salt (to taste) & Coriander Leaves and mix evrything well and cook for some more time.
- Remove the potato Filling in different bowl and let it cool
- Heat Oil in a Pan
- Mix Gram Flour, Cornflour, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilly Powder, Asafoetida, Salt, Water, Soda Bicarbonate & Hot Oil in a bowl and mix well all the Ingredients so as to to make a smooth paste (not thick paste)
- Make small balls of Potato fillings
- Dip Potato balls in the smooth paste
- Deep Fry the potato balls till golden brown
- Cut the Bread into two halves
- Add Coriander Mint Chutney & Spicy Garlic Chutney on both the sides of the bread
- Place the Batata Vada in th centre of the bread & Close the bread
- Serve Hot with Some More Coriander Mint Chutney, Spicy Garlic Chutney & Green Chillies
