Woman Arrested After 5 People, Including 4 Children, Killed in Georgia Stabbing

Five people, including four children, were killed, and a fifth child was left with “very serious injuries,” in a multiple stabbing in Loganville, Gwinnett County, Georgia, on July 6, local police said. A woman was arrested.The police officer giving this update, named as Cpl Michele Pihera, said it was “safe to say” the woman detained was the “wife/mother” of the people who resided in the house.The woman was taken to a police station where she would be interviewed, Pihera said.She said police had received a 911 call from inside the house but could not confirm that this came from the detained woman.A reporter on the scene cited neighbors as saying the oldest of the children as “about seven years old.” Credit: Facebook/The Walton Tribune via Storyful
