Exile draw Federal Constitution

While the Burmese ruling junta under its seven point roadmap is currently in the process of drafting a constitution, the pro-democracy exile is drawing up a parallel draft constitution. The Federal Constitution Drafting and Coordinating Committee was formed in April 19, 2005 with representatives of Members of Parliament elected in Burma's last general election in 1990 , political parties in exile, umbrella armed resistance groups, women's groups, students and youths.
