Idlib Markets Reopen for Ramadan Amid Influx of Displaced Civilians

Following the recent evacuation and transfer of civilians and rebels from Homs and eastern Damascus to rebel-held Idlib, the souqs of the city have been busier than usual during the initial days of Ramadan this year.Despite sporadic artillery strikes and air raids on several rebel-held bastions near the border between the Hama and Idlib provinces, the city of Idlib has witnessed relative calm since the beginning of Ramadan.
