President Donald Trump is hiring Marc Kasowitz as his personal attorney in the federal investigation into his campaign ties with Russia. Kasowitz is a New York-based lawyer who has represented Trump in legal issues since the early 2000s. His website bills him as "one of the most prominent and feared lawyers in the United States." He is the founding partner of legal firm giant Kasowitz, Benson, Torres LLC that opened in 1993. Kasowitz represented Trump last year and demanded retractions and corrections when The New York Times accused Trump of sexual assault.
