Graduates from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana walked out of their commencement ceremony on May 21 in protest as Vice President Mike Pence took the stage as the guest speaker.These videos show students walking out of the ceremony and giving interviews to local media. One student said that she did not feel that Pence represented all students and that they “deserved to have a commencement that represents us, our needs and our desires.”Reports said the graduates protested Pence’s appearance mostly due to his administration’s anti-LGBT and anti-Muslim stances, as well as the controversial US-Mexico border wall.
