Graduates from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana walked out of their commencement ceremony on May 21 in protest of Vice President Mike Pence’s guest speech at the graduation podium.Reports said the graduates protested Pence’s appearance mostly due to his administration’s anti-LGBT and anti-Muslim stanceIn an interview one student said that she did not feel that Pence represented all students and that they “deserved to have a commencement that represents us, our needs and our desires.”
