The video shot in Oklahoma, USA, on March 4, shows Jamylyn asking the man who raised her to adopt her on his 35th birthday.
"My daughter Jamylyn had come to me about 3 months prior and said she had been thinking about it for a long time, and she would really like for him to adopt her.
"We went to my parents house, he knew we were having a birthday get together, but not that he was getting a big surprise."
