Oakland Zoo's Baby River Otters Make Debut

The Oakland Zoo’s baby river otters made their debut this week, just in time for Mother’s Day. The zoo released video on Tuesday, May 9, showing the three pups playing in the outdoor enclosure with their mom.The three pups — a boy and two girls — were born on February 9, and the zoo said mother river otters do not let their children outside and near the pool in the enclosure until she is sure they know how to swim.
