Activists Sound 'Climate Alarm' Inside Trump Hotel to Kick Off Protest

A group of environmental activists marched into the Trump International Hotel in Washington on May 9 to kick off a day-long environmental protest by sounding a “climate alarm” in the hotel’s lobby.The protest, called Wake Up Trump Hotel to the Climate Crisis was organized by the People’s Climate Movement, who gathered at Freedom Plaza before marching towards the Trump International Hotel and nearby Environmental Protection Agency headquarters to rally against President Donald Trump’s expected decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.
