Karnataka govt to challenge Jayalalithaa's aquittal in SC

The Congress government in Karnataka has decided to appeal against the High Court verdict acquitting J Jayalalithaa in a corruption case, which cleared the way for her comeback as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister last week. Jayalalithaa was acquitted last month of all corruption charges in the 19-year-old 66.65-crore disproportionate assets case.
