SC gives Sahara's Roy 18 months to pay Rs 36000 crore, no immediate bail

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to grant immediate bail to Sahara chief Subrata Roy and set terms for release. Roy's release from jail is subjected to furnishing Rs 5,000 crore in cash and Rs 5,000 crore in bank guarantee. The court was to take a call, regarding the bail plea of Subrata Roy, who has been languishing in jail for the past one year.
