Sahara chief Subrata Roy has agreed to pay Rs 300 crore to SEBI. Roy told this to Supreme Court on friday which has extended his parole from september 3 to september 16. The Sahara chief along with two other directors were sent to Tihar jail on March 4, 2014, for failure to comply with 2012 order directing him to return investors' Rs 17,600 crore with 15 percent interest.
