Mithali Raj, becomes first Indian woman cricketer scoring 5000 runs

India skipper Mithali Raj completed 5,000 runs in One-Day International (ODI), becoming the first Indian Woman to do so. She also became the second women cricketer to complete 5,000 runs in ODIs, after Charlotte Edwards of England. She has played 157 ODIs and is the second Indian in the top ten most run-scorer in ODI career. Mithali Raj held the record for the highest individual score by an Indian Woman Cricketer in a World Cup match against NewZealand in Women's World Cup 2005.
