FTII students charged with drug abuse

FTII found itself in the eye of another controversy as Pune Police began an investigation into alleged drug abuse by students of the institute. According to the report, a case was registered against 10 students of the institute at the Deccan Gymkhana police station in the city, on Wednesday. The case registered against the students cites unlawful assembly, wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation. The police is currently recording statements of the students and will file a chargesheet once their probe is over.
