Three FTII students have decided to sit on an indefinite hunger strike to protest the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as the chairman of prestigious film institute of Pune. Ninety days and there’s still no end to the FTII uproar. The hardening of stance comes after Abhijit Das, a faculty member who had entered into a hunger strike on the Teachers’ Day (5 September), fell ill and was forced to withdraw.
