Google Doodle celebrates Indian Independence day

Google today celebrated India’s 69th Independence Day by remembering Mahatma Gandhi’s Dandi March. The doodle shows Gandhi in his khadi white clothes leading the way with men and women following him. The march had sparked protests across India against British salt laws, and was one of the first campaign to have large number of Indians participating.
