Police shot and killed a gunman who opened fire in a San Diego apartment complex, leaving eight people in critical condition. The gunman, described as a white man, shot at 30 adults, most of who were African American as they attended a birthday party at La Jolla Crossroads around 6 p.m. Authorities say the gunman reloaded his gun at least once, before continuing to shoot.
