Kurla Tragedy : 8 killed in cylinder blast in Mumbai hotel

At least eight people were reportedly killed in a suspected cylinder explosion at a hotel in Mumbai's Kurla area today. Several others were said to be injured in the blast that took place at Hotel City Kinara, located in Kurla West. One police official was quoted by a media report as saying -" We suspect there was a gas leak on the first floor along with a short circuit that led to a blast. Those on the first floor got trapped over there and could not rush down where there was no damage."
