Robbery fails: Teens’ 7-11 doughnut heist turns into deadly police shootout

SEATTLE — A 17-year-old girl is to be tried as an adult following a brazen 7-Eleven stickup that led to a shootout with police, the death of her accomplice armed brother and three wounded cops.

According to Seattle paper the Kent Reporter, Adrianna Butts and her big brother Damarius robbed a convenience store on April 20. They’d stolen some doughnuts, beer and chips.

Adrianna was captured first and found to be armed with a knife.

Police pursued Damarius, who later opened fire at responding officers with a pistol. The ensuing gunfight resulted in his death and three wounded police officers.

Adrianna has been charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree assault.
