Tom Hardy Activates 'Hero Mode' To Catch Thief In Chase

Tom Hardy played a super villain on the big screen, but recently had to pull out his inner superhero to save the day.
According to onlookers Hardy scaled walls, dodged flowers in a garden, and sprinted through a construction site while chasing two thieves in London.
The thieves reportedly stole a moped, subsequently crashed into a $64,000 Mercedes at a busy intersection, and tried to flee on foot.
That’s when Tom went into “Superhero mode” according to a witness.
Both thieves were injured and one was caught within moments. The other thief fled through gardens toward a vacant lot where Hardy captured the thief and made a citizen’s arrest.
The witness added, “I asked Tom what happened and he told me he chased him through my back garden and caught him around the block — but the route was like an assault course.”
Hardy’s spokeswoman declined to comment and local police claim that they were on scene and no chase took place. But with all those eyewitnesses, we’re thinking they’re just jealous Tom is getting all the credit.
