Toddler miraculously avoids being run over by cars by lying down on road

A dramatic video has emerged of two-year-old girl lying down on a road to avoid being run over by vehicles.

The CCTV footage, captured in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province on April 24, shows the girl running by herself across the road before she falls trapped under a car.

Her grandmother can be seen running after her to pick her up after two vehicles drove over her.

Fortunately, she reportedly only had minor scratches on her head.
