Mother and daughter on scooter narrowly avoid being run over by truck in China

This is the terrifying moment a mother and a daughter in southern China narrowly avoided being run over by a truck while they were riding a scooter.
The video, shot in the city of Shantou in Guangdong Province on June 1, shows a transport truck suddenly changing lane, and knocking over a mother and a daughter on a scooter.
The truck then drove away beside the two people, narrowly missed them.
Fortunately, the mother and the daughter only suffered scratches and they were sent to hospital for a checkup.
The truck drive was declared a hit-and-run and the police is investigating the case.
