Vijayakanth expels 10 DMDK members for opposing PWF alliance

DMDK chief Vijayakant has expelled 10 functionaries, including three MLAs, who questioned the party’s decision to align with the PWF. The decision comes hours after V.C. Chandrakumar, MLAs C.H. Sekar and S.R. Parthipan, besides seven others gave ultimatum to Vijayakanth to rethink its decision and get associated with DMK instead. Of the expelled functionaries, Chandrakumar, also the DMDK whip in the Assembly, is the most prominent face of the party.
