Kabul rocks with explosions near US embassy, 24 killed

An explosion rocked central Kabul early on Tuesday and a thick plume of black smoke could be seen rising from the vicinity of the sprawling U.S. embassy in the Afghan capital. There are no report on casualties yet. Suicide bomber detonated explosive-laden vehicle outside secret service unit responsible for protecting VIPs.
