Babri Masjid : SC ordered tried for criminal conspiracy against Advani, Uma Bharti

The Supreme Court dealt a major blow to L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and nine others in the Babri Masjid demolition case. The court ordered that these persons would be tried for criminal conspiracy and the trial should be completed in two years. No adjournments, the SC ordered.
बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भाजपा के 13 नेताओं पर आपराधिक साजिश रचने के आरोप पर मुकदमा चलाने की मंज़ूरी दे दी है. कोर्ट के इस फैसले ने भाजपा के दिग्गज नेता लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी, मुरली मनोहर जोशी और उमा भारती समेत 13 नेताओं के लिए विकत स्थिति पैदा कर दी है. इस मामले में आरोपी के तौर पर राजस्थान के मौजूदा गवर्नर कल्याण सिंह का नाम भी शामिल है, जिसे लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि जबतक कल्याण सिंह गवर्नर के पद पर हैं, तब तक उन पर कोई केस दर्ज नहीं किया जाएगा.
