Kevin Spacey to host 2017 Tony Awards

Two-time Oscar winner, Kevin Spicey will host this year's Tony Awards. The house of cards actor will take over from James Corden, who hosted the ceremony last year when musical Hamilton scored 11 gongs. Spicey won a Tony Award in 1991 for best featured actor in a play for his performance in 'Lost in Yonkers.' The 71st Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast June 11 from Radio City Music Hall. Tony eligibilty for the season ends April 27, and nominations will be announced May 2.
