India's spin trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Jayant Yadav, known for their bowling skills, all scored half centuries as the lower order helped India secure a crucial 134-run lead. Today was the first time in the 84-year Indian Test history that players batting at numbers 7, 8 and 9 had scored 50 or more runs in the same innings.
