Steve Smith gets accolades from R Ashwin for his unbeaten 84 runs. Steve Smith who is captaining Pune in IPL 2017 and had a wonderful start to the season by thrashing Mumbai Indians in the thriller that went down to the last over. The skipper smith was the architect of the victory. He not only made 84 from 54 balls but did what MS Dhoni could not do. Needing 13 runs in the last over and 10 in last three balls, he hit two sixes on the 2 consecutive deliveries to take Pune home. Former cricketers and fans were quick to praise the magnificent knock on to the social media but the most notable tweet was by Ravichandran Ashwin, who wrote, "Steve stunning Smith."Ashwin was also involved into the verbal spat with the Australians during the Test series, so his approval was really notable.
