During the search operations, from a secret chamber in the bathroom of the residence of a hawala operator. The Panaji Directorate of the Director General of Income-tax (Inv), Karnataka & Goa carried out search operations on the casino operators and bullion traders in Hubballi and Chitradurga districts of Karnataka on 09-12-2016. 28 Kg of Bullion, about 4 KG of gold and Jewellary, 5.7 Crores of new currency in 2000 notes, and 90 lakhs in old 100 and 20 notes were seized.
