Persian Poetry with English Translation, of Hazrat Sultan Bahoo (R.A)

Voice: Ustad Hamid Ali Khan

Book: Ain ul Faqr

Poem: Anthem of Love

Every uttermost is my beginning; no one is acquainted with my secret, where is a fly and where is my royal falcon, I am moth of His ardent love, I am alien from my life.

Both worlds are single step for my core, Allah is sufficient for me and my need is no more, as I have surrendered my desires before Him, I am moth of His ardent love, I am alien from my life

The abstinent wanders far away from his goal of Divine unity, he is unaware of status of ardent lover’s unity, his endeavours are confined to this world, on the contrary I am moth of Divine’s Oneness, I am alien from my life.

Before the divine Seat, trumpets of my glory are blown as my livelihood is the divine truth, listen my friend! Heed me attentively, listen Divine’s Oneness is my abode I am alien from my life.

Wash away this knowledge from your heart and with complete passion make your soul echo with the name of thy Lord Allah, so that you may become rivulet of Divine truth. I have surrendered my life to my beloved because I am moth of His ardent love I am alien from my life.
