Garret Lyon first started singing and dancing as soon as he could walk and talk. He learnt from the best, by watching his favourite artists on TV. He would copy... the moves of Ciara, Chris Brown and Michael and Janet Jackson and imitate the voices of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce and Jessica Mauboy. During his high school years he focused on his dancing, he was lead dancer and choreographer for many of his high school musicals and performances and only sang when he was alone in a room when no one was around. In his final year he decided to audition for a lead role in his school musical "Disco Inferno" where he landed the role of disco king Heathcliffe.
