20 yr. old Catherine Gunther is not afraid to share her lifelong adventures through her honest folk storytelling.
Influenced by artists such as Fanny Lumsden and Lady Antebellum, Catherine’s folk response to the world around her has caught attention from people from as far as Germany to her own backyard on the Gold Coast.
Having been nominated for this year’s Emerging Artist Award at the 2016 Gold Coast Music Awards Catherine is riding off the back of a highly successful 12 months having played several festivals including Tamworth Country Music Festival and Urban Country Music Festival, launched two EP’s, Livin’ On The Land (2015) and Bitter Sweet Memories (2016), and received extensive airplay nationwide on community radio.
