The serial killer known as the 'Angel of Death' died Thursday after being attacked inside his prison cell two days earlier. Donald Harvey was found severely beaten in his cell and died from his injuries later in a hospital. Harvey killed 37 people throughout the 70s and 80s while working at hospitals in Ohio and Kentucky. Most of his victims were chronically ill patients that he poisoned with cyanide and arsenic. In 1987, Harvey pleaded guilty to the murders to avoid the death sentence.
